The Basics This unique evergreen has numerous pendulous branches covered with bottle-brush shaped cherry-red blooms starting in late spring and lasting through summer. Its densely compact, upright growth habit with bright green foliage reaches 12-15 feet tall (8-10 feet wide). Best performs as a small tree, background plant, hedge, grouping, and makes a great container plant.
