The Care This evergreen needs a regular water schedule to ensure the growth of a mature root system. Be sure to keep the soil moist or blooming will cease. After the mature root system is established, watering is needed occasionally, except during a drought, watering is needed regularly. Prune annually to control size. Allow up to 5 feet if planning to use as a ground cover or allow less space for quicker coverage.
